How to use it?
Put fresh roots inside a small cotton bag after cleaning them – without washing.
Place the bag over the site of pain.
Decoction of the roots to treat rheumatism, joint pain, varicose veins in the legs, and chronic nervous headaches.
How to prepare?
Boil 1 to 100 grams of fresh roots in (2 Liters) of water for two hours.
Add the boiled roots water into the bath after filtering it.
Use the water for all the body bath or for foot bath.
The duration of the bath is half an hour.
Repeat once or twice a day for one to three weeks, if necessary.
The same water can be used without renewing it three to four times in a row.
Note: (it is forbidden to drink the water )
The branches and their leaves are also good to treat back pain, gout, rheumatism, foot pain, and toothache.
How to prepare and use it?
Cut branches and leaves into smallest parts.
Place it over the site of pain.
It is noted that the pain intensifies after applying the herb, but it disappears completely after a short period.
Place pieces of branches and leaves inside a sleeping pillow, while placing it inside a shoe removes fatigue and pain, it also cures the feet of those suffering from varicose veins.
Saint John’s flower and root
The flower branches are ripped in the months of July and August.
Flower’s oil and ointment are successful treatments for back pain, rheumatism, gout, and sweating in women.
How to prepare the ointment?
Mash an amount of the flowers and the tips of the branches together.
Add an amount of (castor oil) and put it over low fire for an hour.
It is advisable to add a portion of beeswax.
How to prepare the oil?
Take completely immature flowers.
Mash it well and put it in a large bottle
Add half Liter of olive oil to it.
Close the bottle tightly and leave it in the sun for ten days.
Filter it after ten days and squeeze the flowers to remove all the liquid.
Renew the process with new mashed flowers in the same bottle.
Repeat the process again, until the oil acquires a dark red color, then filter and store in corked bottles.
Use the Ointment or the Oil to massage the sites of pain and wounds.
Flowers of queen of the meadows
The flowers of queen of the meadows is a successful treatment for back pain in general and l and joint diseases.
How to prepare:
Add twenty grams of ground dried flowers to half a Liter of boiled water
Drink one large cup twice a day, until healed.
Comfrey officinalis roots
This plant effectively treats back pain and many other rheumatic pain, bone injuries of all kinds, women’s sweat, inflammation of the blood veins, blockage of some capillary veins…etc.
How to prepare the patch?
Cut the roots of the comfrey officinalis and boil it.
Mash it until they soften and become like dough.

Boil twenty grams of roots in about half a Liter of water.
Filter it after boiling and drink multiple doses every two hours throughout the day.

The decoction is to treat gout, back pain, all kinds of rheumatism, and chronic cough.

Boil one to two grams of the climbing ivy per cup of water.
